Richard Hochstein Memorial Scholarship
Richard Hochstein, proprietor of Wonderland Lanes for almost 50 years, passed away on March 5, 2015. Richard held a very large role in the Walled Lake High School Bowling Program for many years. Richard lived for his family, friends and community, and put a smile on the face of everyone he met. The Richard Hochstein Scholarship Fund was set up in Richards' honor.
This scholarship was set up for just the Walled Lake High School Bowling Program. Any bowler who plans to attend an accredited college or university while continuously acting as a positive role model in the WLHS Bowling Program and in the community could potentially be a recipient of this award. This recipient will carry on Richards' legacy of treating people with respect at all times and making a positive difference in the people around them. This scholarship is open to all bowlers from 9th to 12th grade. There will be an application that will need to be completed and submitted to the RHMS Board. One recipient will be presented with this scholarship at the annual WLSB Banquet.
Board members include- Marcy Hornsby-Mohr, Ron Arnoldi and Dave Hochstein
